Forms
New Bus Stop
Parents can request a new bus stop on the approved form provided by the Transportation Department. Principals cannot authorize bus stops, nor can a driver make a bus stop without district approval.
To expedite your request please fill out the Request For A New Bus Stop form and email or deliver it to the Transportation Department. Upon receipt of this information we will look at your situation and determine if a new stop would fall within the guidelines given to us by the state and local board. Students must continue to utilize the preexisting bus stop until a decision is made and the parent(s) have been contacted.
Transaction Form
The Transportation Department makes every effort to rectify parent concerns in a timely manner. All phone conversations, radio transmissions, and office visits are recorded on a Transaction Form. Things often resurface and accurate information concerning past actions taken greatly facilitates the solving of problems.
Upon receiving a parent concern, the Transportation Department will make the necessary contact with the bus driver, contractor and/or school personnel. After reviewing the situation the Director will contact the parent(s)/guardian(s) with the outcome so a resolution can be made.
Video cameras are installed on all school buses and will be utilized in reaching a determination of specific situations. However, due to Idaho weather, road conditions and a time limit while the bus is parked; video footage cannot always be extracted.
A transaction form may be completed and submitted to the transportation office by the parent(s)/guardian(s) if there is a concern they would like to address.
